I am Tessa and I am Life. Tessa was one of literally hundreds that Belinda and I met and treated during a mission trip to Sinoloa de Leyva Mexico. It is a drug-ridden, poverty stricken area of Mexico where families are murdered daily while sitting on the front porch. It's dusty, dirty and rough. Tess walked 15 miles to sit in 100 degree weather with hundreds of others for over 8 hours before finally being seen by a doctor. She didn't snipe and complain but merely said "muchas gracias" as she entered the exam area and tearfully "dios los bendiga" upon leaving. Tessa is life. Life is persevering.
